What a nice info...well i rarely see that scenario so i have no ideaIn this manga it wouldn't make sense, since her nationality is right there on the name. In other manga, I've seen English scanlations use asterisks and/or footnotes to indicate text that was already in English in the raws
This manga has a Russian translation.A little off topic...if the translation was Russian version, then when the heroine says it, will they still translate it into another language?
To us Russians, nicknames seem natural. It's only after encountering foreigners and trying to explain things to them that we understand just how difficult our language is.I don't think simply knowing a bit of Russian culture is enough to know the natural nickname counterparts of Russian names... so why isn't she suspecting him of being familiar with Russian lol

Maybe that Saa-kun is our MC? Like, y'know, MaSAchikaI bet this Saa-kun is a shota.
You should tell the author then, not the translator. because ‘Yuri Sister i dont hate that (insert number)’ are literally what the author use as the titles of the last 8 chapters of the manga. Go check the official raw & use a translator so you can see it by yourselfBro pls change the fuckin title dude , it's been same since the last 8 chapters. I ain't complaining about the translation but for god's sake put some effort into the chapter title
Portuguese too, or at least brazilian one. You can get the relationship between people easily just from what nicknames they use for the other person, or popular people are treated with a mix of respect of a nickname (think Mr. Richie for someone named Richard). To us Russians, nicknames seem natural. SauceJesus Christ, it's so fucking cute. I would be so happy if Alya doesn't have any love rivals.
I didn't knew about that , I thought the translator is doing this deliberately 😭You should tell the author then, not the translator. because ‘Yuri Sister i dont hate that (insert number)’ are literally what the author use as the titles of the last 8 chapters of the manga. There is a number of nicknames with "Sasha" pattern. Pasha for Pavel, Ksyusha for Ksenia...Could you give a few examples? The only one I can think of is "Alexander" being a nickname for "Sasha" (and that's mostly because I've got a friend with that name and it was explained to me).
Is there a special meaning for the --sha and --ya?There is a number of nicknames with "Sasha" pattern. Pasha for Pavel, Ksyusha for Ksenia...
Besides "Alya", there are many other nicknames with the same pattern. Anya for Anna, Tanya for Tatiana, Galya for Galina...
No. At least, as far as I know.Is there a special meaning for the --sha and --ya?
Wow the upload schedule for this one is absolutely fucked. GG to anyone thinking this might catch up to the LN.
Rom-coms already have a slow enough development, and being a monthly manga on top of that? That is overkill. It's just better to forget about the manga and just read the LN at this point. 6 months and only 15 chapters is wild.
MCI bet this Saa-kun is a shota.
