Murmuring in a room filled with loudly arguing folks will obviously get through Kuzu on the other side of the door but him doing the same on the other side won't.
Once again, da one and only steps in. Not afraid to make up things as usual, although he probably won't let this remain a lie for long.
It's a bit weird/sad to see Masha not really being worried about her sister, she should know even better that her sister is far from suited for this task. At least have her go with a second person or something if it's her first errand of that sort...
