Dang, for a slice-of-life drama manga, it sounds rough. 😅I think it was around 100 chapters. They're barely 10 chapters into the date. There's another 50 chapters before something plot twist happens where any progress is erased and it starts all over again before ending the arc
I say I wanted it, not I needed it xDAnd you're still reading this?
The title says "adn" instead of "and", but I guess you could call this his associate degree in nursing 😉
I think you're reading the wrong manga for that my friendI need progress and zero misunderstandings
I don't think so. This ain't exactly a drama manga. It's one for the fluffthusiasts. But yeah, their relationship is pretty uneventful. I think people are a bit too hungry for progress sometimes, when manga like Starting Today, We’re Childhood Friends andI think you're reading the wrong manga for that my friend
The two examples you listed have great comedic moments and the male and female leads in both are genuinely interesting personalities on their own. Tokimori just isn't funny (as I recall most of the jokes are just how much the female lead sleeps and is useless domestically, it's been a while since I've read through tho tbf) and the male lead is one of the most boring, pathetic characters I've seen in a manga. Tokimori is an interesting character, but the author doesn't let us see nearly enough of her perspective so we're stuck watching the events through the eyes of a complete wet napkinI don't think so. Houkago Kitaku Biyori show that you can have slice of life relationship building/will-they-won't-they without fast-paced progress and still have a fantastic manga. Tokimori just does a bad job at managing tension and the individual stories within the chapters aren't all that exciting. There are some character-writing issues as well. I still enjoy it though, don't get me wrong, this reply is just focused on the negative because I'm critiquing it.
Absolutely, they were just examples of well-written manga where, rather than begging for progress, readers are generally just enjoying the chapters and the cute and funny moments within. Tokimori doesn't have very good comedy. It has a bit of fanservice, which is another thing that can carry these types of manga, but it's pretty sparse and lacks impact the longer the series goes on. It's sub-par in both categories. The series is slowly drifting into the "not worth my time to continue" category, but it's not there yet, considering each chapter is a wholesome five minute break from my day.The two examples you listed have great comedic moments and the male and female leads in both are genuinely interesting personalities on their own.
