Very true, but let's be real, the author didn't put much thought into this beyond the trope he was seeking, as discussed in the previous chapter. Let's just be glad he actually put the MC standing up for what he cares about.I was happy to see it not have the MC wimp out but now he's gone back to the house the next day after assaulting the guy? Like I'd be instantly calling the police.
It's contradictory, because for all intends and purposes it has been hinting she's self-aware enough to know the MC is safe. One could argue she had learned her lesson from past abuse, but the way this has been laid out is very convoluted.the cliche, I know she is sloppy, but i refuse to believe she is stupid in judging people.
and this spineless man doesn't have any comeback to say.
No no, you see... the guy didn't want to get wet in the rain, that's why he waited until morning to talk to the MC, he was standing there the whole time, waiting for the MC to get out of the apartment, alone. He's that evil.Bro got assaulted and the author apparently forgot the guy was still standing right there? They just walked off into the rain? Can we just get back to the wholesome stuff and not badly written drama characters, please
