Medium and large dogs are cool. Small dogs need to be exterminated like the little annoying pests they are. If you want something small and fluffy, get a cat as they are less annoying.

I always say that the Yorkshire Terrier is the last dog on this side of the size spectrum. Anything smaller is from my experiece little more than a bundle of fairly negative emotions coupled with zero capacity to learn. We once had to keep a Maltese dog for our friends and it continuously repeated the cycle of yapping at our cats and getting beaten up by them.

That was slightly less annoying and contrived than rando perv blackmailer cameraman who just vanished without a trace. Mostly because it didn't even resolve, it just stopped being a thing and a character popped up to say "oh yeah, that guy. We disciplined him." with all the gravitas of announcing that you had shrimp scampi for lunch.

Don't worry, the other manga, "You are not Nina" will take up that mantle of bullshit drama back to back in a supposed "wholesome romance" story.

I saw the raws of that one and it makes the previous arcs of Tokimori seems wholesome compared to it.

I think the worst was the conflict with Igarashi.

And not because of her as a person, which was its own issue, but with the absolute bullshit of "The PC rebooted, and in process deleted all of the data she had be working on."

People complain about the drama chapters, but it’s because of those that we got really cute moments that brought the two closer together. The series is lighthearted and the drama ends after two or three chapters, so it’s not like the readers actually think something bad is gonna happen.
