Hey,

Thank you to anyone who's posted with kind words, I'm glad people are getting something out of this.

I'll be a bit busier with work from tomorrow, so chapters will slow down a tad.

When I say the stuff that's waiting to be uploaded needs QC, I mostly mean switching fonts (I only started with this one pretty recently, and had to go back and change everything <_< ) and sometimes adding SFX explanations I didn't do before.

I have been making a few extra tweaks based on what I've seen people saying, and I'll try and cut down on bolded words. Too influenced by old-timey comics, I guess. >_> I also started doing minor redraws around chapter 30 or so. (Sorry for the white blobs up until then, I literally never did any of this before a few weeks ago.)

I liked the series so much that when the first group drifted away from it I went to Pixiv to make an account so I could read it with MTL, and when the second group stopped, I thought "Okay, if nobody else comes along, I'll give it a try".

I've used MTL to read stuff in Japanese and Chinese for years (games, manga - I've used it so much lately the "take screenshot" button is burnt into my current phone screen...) and I would definitely not say it's a magic solution by any means (some of the manga I tried it on just would not come up with anything usable), but TnC seemed like I could turn it into something readable without fudging it too much.

Plus I'm used to the quirks MTL has by this point - mixing up subject and tenses, weird word picks (it still chooses "mosquito" instead of "power" sometimes, even after this long!) and so on. And I do recheck stuff as much as I can (I've even tweaked a few of these uploads right before I've posted them.) If someone who's fluent comes along and says "Actually this is all wrong" then... fair enough, but I'd honestly be surprised.

But yeah, if that doesn't happen, then I'm happy to stick with it. Working on #37 atm, and I'm still enjoying it, so if people want to read it, I'll keep going.

I can definitely relate to using MTL to read stuff lol, Google Lens is pretty useful but when it comes to translating it takes effort to guess and fill in the missing context needed to have a chance at understanding the real sentence which only makes me appreciate every good scanlator out there. Keep up the good work

I second that. You know, with all the scanlation wars just a short while ago on several yuri manga I mean it kinda felt like we’d forgotten the joy that these stories bring. There’s Erotica, Drama, etc and I love all the yuri! My gay ass has been squealing the last couple days from the chapters being rolled out. I’m so glad you chose this series too because besides Shimamura and Adachi, I always thought this story was also very similar. There is so so so much pain and grief over the confusion of your feelings. Unrequited feelings. And then it can also flip your world in a matter of seconds. Love is strong. So is being true to yourself. I’m still stuck in the former (heartbreak) but I can’t wait to find happiness like these two!
