Thanks for the chapter and good luck.Surprisingly wordy for a quick six-pager, with a fair few annoying minor redraws. Rushed it a bit, maybe - hopefully it's not too much of a problem for anyone - but I have to go into hospital tomorrow and wanted this out of the way beforehand.
like, this has been a yuri of all drama, and specifically the drama inherent to heteronormativity. if you want to read a yuri without that, then just read a different yuri because this one has always been this.Uugh idk bout u guys but I hope this drama end soon and Asuna can get over with her self insecurity and then also please author stop making this kind of drama over and over again
This exactly. Like, it hurts watching the two of them go through this, but healing with these feelings has been what the manga has been about since day one. If anything, I'm impressed with it sucking to it's guns and not just devolving into Yuri fluff that ignores it's core themes.like, this has been a yuri of all drama, and specifically the drama inherent to heteronormativity. if you want to read a yuri without that, then just read a different yuri because this one has always been this.
I would be really surprised if this were the case. Misono seemed to have accepted the reality of being in a homosexual relationship much more than Asuna, I didn't think she's going to just revert back to saying a random beard. I could be wrong, but Id be disappointed if this was the choice the author madeI imagine that we are going to have new drama, either Misano had something happen to her while they weren't talking OR she wanted to be "normal" again and is cheating with a guy.
I mean, I don't really agree, they just have a very different view of it. Asuna doesn't mind being in an homosexual relationship, and her main issue with it is having to hide it. If it was up to her, they wouldn't be hiding it and that would absolutely solve all of her issue about their relation.Misono seemed to have accepted the reality of being in a homosexual relationship much more than Asuna
I hope you're doing well! Thank you for the chapter as always!Surprisingly wordy for a quick six-pager, with a fair few annoying minor redraws. that was never really why it was hidden, and it certainly didn't stay hidden because of that. if it wasn't gay, misono probably would've immediately broken up with her boyfriend upon realizing she developed feelings and then pursued asuna openly. but she felt, and feels, like she can't because of her parents primarily. the whole reason she wanted to go to a school not near home and not near classmates who might tell her parents was so she could be openly gay without problems from her parents.I will admit that I do understand Asuna point of view more, especially since their relationship started as a secret, not due to it's homosexual nature, but due to the cheating, and even now that they moved past that point, they still have to hide it, and I can understand how that would be frustrating for Asuna.
Misono clearly has very strong reservations about being outed, and had been clear from the start with Asuna about it. The while first half of the story was her overcoming it to the degree she could even be with Asuna because of how scared she was to get outed.I mean, I don't really agree, they just have a very different view of it. Misono also technically doesn't mind being in an homosexual relationship, but she does want to hide it, she's perfectly fine keeping this relationship between them exclusively, even if it can lead to misunderstanding in their social life.
Both are entierly valid about it.

Yeah and she told all of this very directly to Asuna, who reassured her that she was capable of handling it and would be fine. Clearly, Asuna bit off more than she could chew but Misono was never a mystery. Misono nearly always communicates. Asuna knew (or thought she knew) what she signed up for. So, for me, it's on her.that was never really why it was hidden, and it certainly didn't stay hidden because of that. if it wasn't gay, misono probably would've immediately broken up with her boyfriend upon realizing she developed feelings and then pursued asuna openly. but she felt, and feels, like she can't because of her parents primarily. the whole reason she wanted to go to a school not near home and not near classmates who might tell her parents was so she could be openly gay without problems from her parents.
I feel like pushing blame around only makes sense if we consider this relationship as over.Yeah and she told all of this very directly to Asuna, who reassured her that she was capable of handling it and would be fine. At this point Asuna has tried several things to make herself feel more assured in their relationship (including crossdressing), and Misano has shot them down and offered nothing in return except words. People keep saying Misano is the only one who communicates but ALL she’s done to this point is talk.I feel like pushing blame around only makes sense if we consider this relationship as over.
Otherwise, I think it's understandable for Asuna to have issues related to the situation, and Misono just kinda blowing up on her, instead of working through it together doesn't help. Insecurities are not based on logic, so you can't logic yourself out of it. You have feelings, and you have to address them in some way and work through it together.
The situation blew up because Misono blew up the entire "I've heard you and Hayama are dating" situation and then got mad when Asuna started talking about what bothers her - which, everything else aside, was totally uncalled for.
And sure, Asuna is the root cause of the issues, but that's because she can't get what she wants from the relationship, and if they want to continue being in one, Misono has to keep giving her some kind of substitute for as long as the situation persists. If she is not ready for that work, she should have broken up with Asuna already, and let both of them move on.
