In any case, I do not dislike that Coco is this f*cked up. He'll probably be snaped out of it after a couple of chapters of fighting against Inupi, but there will be drama in the meanwhile.

There's always the possibility but just from some of these comments here it's obvious that a lot of people who read these types of delinquent and shounen mangas would lose their shit if Coco was really gay.

But the fact that they suggested it with showing the kiss is already a step forward. I also think it will be revealed after the two fight and (maybe only partly) resolve their issues.
