@dankdevice Doesn't that just reflect more on the writer's ability though? Characters can still actually be a couple in the series and it can still be a good read. If anything, ending a series with the relationship beginning (with maybe some timeskip epilogue with them making a family) seems weaker in my eyes giving more of an illusion of love since anyone whose been in a relationship now that just starting it isn't even the beginning and more like... let's say just getting to a races starting line. Heck, beginning it may not even be getting into starting position either.

@DatFcker you're preaching to the choir here. i definitely don't like the copout "5 years later" timeskip, just noticing that there's probably a reason that a lot of authors tend to use it.

not saying this writer is bad, i've enjoyed this manga up until chapter 850-something but it feels like it has gotten stagnant. i get that jun is a dense-af romcom protag but every time he opens his mouth i just want to slam my head into a brick wall

@dankadevice @DatFcker If this author ends the series with them starting a relationship he's just a bad writer, at least the epitome of average that we've seen countless times with manga like this before. Honestly we pretty much know that already from everything we've read up to this point. I think the writing is on the wall for this manga.
