Both of them are pretty much conscious of each other, no competing heroine for prolonging interaction and progress, the MC started thinking about going to a university (which sometimes mark the end of romance stories is near).

So unless author forcefully prolonged their confession (or started sniffing some funny white powder and copying rent a girlfriend approach of resetting progress), i'd say ending it soon is already good enough

I'm echoing what other people already said, but I really do wonder where the story would go from here that it wouldn't end in one more volume. I like the story but it's been kinda meandering for a bit, and if the author doesn't have more material they should probably be thinking about the conclusion.

Author has a bit of same face syndrome. For a split second I thought the teacher was Kurokawa in frame 1, it's a simplified art style though so it's bound to happen even to the best of them.
