Pretty telling as to how great this series is, when the "introduced rival" is just a casual gaming friend for Seno (something that I'm glad to see--Seno gaining even a gaming acquaintance is a big deal for him).
And even then--they only thought about one another, before the stars aligned once more and they're together in class for 2nd Year, as well.

Just beautiful pacing throughout the chapter as it bounces between their perspectives, too. The moments with those around them, who are varying levels of aware of what's going on between Nekozane and Seno. All culminating in their talk in the classroom under the cherry blossoms outside, to mirror their 1st year when they were separated by a curtain in the infirmary.

Good stories rhyme, after all.
Thanks for the TL.

An hour ago is toe curling

I really like how this manga makes the characters learn more about themselves. Like, yeah, they're in high school, it only makes sense they'd be figuring stuff out, but most manga leans into the solidified character type, where most things about the character has already been decided before the series started, but in this one, where, and I hope I'm remembering correctly, Seno wasn't actually too interested in photography, but it was only after being dragged into the club that he started seriously getting into it. Again, I might be wrong, I'm probably gonna reread to be sure, but I just really like that small little character-building detail that the author just pulled off so nicely.
