p3 should be "I'm not asking you" instead of "I'm not listening to you". The 聞く verb can mean both to listen to or to ask, depending on context.

Also check bookwalker, they usually have the best resolution for magazine chapters.
Thx, fixed it.

I'll look up into it.
Update on the magazine thing.

It's published on Manga Cross, an exclusively digital magazine. They don't seem to release issues like other magazines, I wasn't able to find it in bookwalker either, if it's there I didn't see it. All I found were the sites they upload individual purchasable chapters in websites like piccoma, manga.line and cmoa, those have the same or worse resolution. They also release free chapters in pixiv, but those are still at ch14.

Bookwalker has a separate section for individual magazine chapters. You'll have to buy one to see the resolution but bookwalker has a good reputation of using the images as they are given to them so you are unlikely to find better resolution. Also, remember to rip them before they are served to the viewer or they'll have a hidden barcode.

I usually use the bookwalker app (I think it's better resolution on iPhone too) to rip raws. Probably the best one I know. A bit tedious using screenshots but at least the quality is good.

Reading the comment above yours made me think I should say this. Don't rip them using screenshots, if you don't know how to rip the canvas you can make a disposable account and I can rip them for you, it really triggers me when pleople get their raws using screenshots.

Already checked them, to rip them I used a Manga downloader I looked up some time ago.

The resulting files look fine.

This made me rewatch a bit of FLCL, conveniently sitting on my hard drive for years waiting to be rewatched. First saw it in 2012 and I didn't really understand, so I put it off and didn't finish it until a year later, without any significant takeaways aside from "it's weird"... ~10 years later today I found a better appreciation for it and also better understood stuff that I didn't years ago.

I'd say FLCL isn't the kind of thing they'd understand, but they'd be able to emotionally relate to it being middle schoolers going through puberty and awakening to their first loves like FLCL's protag Naota is.

Shia not wanting to see FLCL together with Tasuku sounds like all the clingy scenes involving Mamimi (high school girl) and Naota (late elementary, almost middle school boy) hit too close to home for her. Let's not even talk about the other older girl Haruko and her effect on Naota, which is gonna be too close for comfort. Not to mention Naota's older brother is also named Tasuku. :smug:

Tasuku should definitely watch it, even just by himself.

My boy Ta-kun is growing with each chapter. Love how much more self-aware he's getting re: being too pushy with Shia. Slowly but surely he's learning how to play it cool, albeit still with those trademark outbursts of impulsivity.

And yes, Mochizuki is indeed based AF. She's a great friend and not just an important plot device

On the contrary, this chap gave MORE hints that she is indeed beginning to see him romantically, and is trying her best to avoid thinking about it.

There was a lot of subtext hinting to her being jealous he would go with another girl to see movies.

And her insistance on her not wanting them to see FLCL cause of the "older girl x younger boy lewd scenes" screams of her projecting her own thoughts of her relation with the protag.
That was less subtext and more overt-text.

The subtext here was that she approved of his relationship as friends with Mochizuki.

Not just that, the older girl the young boy is pining for is in love with his older brother and she's just toying with him out of frustration. There's a lot of overt parallels

Ah yes, this is why the pain I feel when reading this is so familiar to me. It's the same pain I felt watching FLCL lmao

Is Shia more concerned about the way FLCL begins? Or, y'know, how things for the MC there eventually end...

Mochizuki best girl. She's like a bull in a china shop. Like an actual bull in a china shop, as Mythbusters showed. Can just bulldoze if she wants to, but knows how to be considerate.

Unpopular opinion, I don't think FLCL is good. At all. It might have some good messages, but is garbage at delivering them. At least it's easier to understand than Ergo Proxy, I suppose, but that's a far better anime, especially if you understand it.
