This is ultimately what this manga is about, based on what I saw in the anime. Sure, there were goofy moments with Kaname and Aya and some things, and stuff that reveals some of Tsukasa's backstory, but overall? It felt like a wholesome ball of fluff and diabetes as two newly-met newlyweds got used to each other's company and got affectionate and appreciative of said company.
Also, take note of that title page art- that's ancient or at least medieval japan, before electricity. And there's Tsukasa just as she is in modern day. Just think about that. She hasn't changed for all this time. That's not just art for fun- that's canon.
