I think it must be a merge cause when old nana was starting to warp back to the past through dreams she always knew what was going on and how she got there this leads me to believe that the Nana we see wake up is a merge of both but since the alternate Nana's memories differ so much from the current situation her brain is focusing on using those memories as a defense mechanism to figure out what is wrong with the situation.(Headcanon Timelines and Ending Statements)
I may have a few questions (...and theories) regarding the timeline's continuity, like everyone's memories post-departure... and what tf happened for those 10 years leading to the change in circumstance when Nanasawa woke up... and if Nana-chan and Nana-san's existence/memories merged at some point leading to there only being one in the present...
It could be that Nana-san just ceased to be when she departed that timeline. The circumstances e.g. Saki-Nana's relationship, the film club being a yay, Saki's film career taking off nicely, must have stayed like so but with Nana-san's association with those events being wiped from everyone's minds. Basically, she had the best threesome and just died existentially in her sleep.
But Nana-chan, being together with Saki, could have lived a happy normal life for those 10 years... growing out her hair, pulling a glow-up, graduating college, getting a good job, saving up a ton, eventually living together with Saki... then just woke up wondering whose house was that, and "if she's still together with Saki after sleeping with her 'and her old self' 10 years ago" as if her memory was wiped. Thinking of it like that, it's as if Nana-chan was actually the one who ceased.. by the act of Nana-san waking up exactly a decade after that special moment.
And so, another question pops up: the star-crossed Nana-san or the character-developed Nana-chan.. who was really the one who disappeared? Who woke up that time? Saki is such a good girlfriend for putting up with this on the fly, casting aside the fact that the Nana-chan she lived with forever since that day is just suddenly gone, and now soothing the same woman but with a decade-long hole in her memory and thanking her for this self-proclaimed timeslip journey that might've been the reason why they're even together.
Okay, that's the nihilistic perspective. It could just really be that the Nanasawas' existences merged in some fashion. It could be by Nana-san's memories moving to Nana-chan after annihilation. But it leads to their memories finally merging, only that her memories of "the new" 10 years ago is still cloudy.
Who knows.. this Nanasawa might eventually recall that she's Nana-chan, eventually discovering Nana-san's entire life journey and falling to internal grief because she's living the future that her pervy wholehearted senpai self has given her entire heart & soul towards. Or alternatively, this Nanasawa really is Nana-san, and with the gradual influx of new memories (of the new 10 years she "lived" with Saki) comes the self-proclaimed bitter truth of herself replacing Nana-chan, the one who truly lived the new future they all worked to create.
The last elephant, or pair of melons, in the room is Saki and what she knows on this. The simplest course here would be that Saki just forgot... that is... about the threesome actually being three. Her memories could just be of being together with Nana-chan all this time, with Nana-chan just being a bit more courageous all those years ago. It's as simple as that: just a happy singular-Nana x Saki relationship, with Nana being the unhinged gf with memories as if she's different from the Nana-chan she always knew (“you got me, Saki-chan. Heheh..."). That, or what if she actually remembered? She could literally be anticipating the moment when 10 years finally pass since she and Nana-chan lived together, knowing that it would be Nana-san who wakes up one day in an ordinary afternoon. Both Saki and Nana-chan could have anticipated this, with the near-impossibility of there being two Nanasawas 10 years into the future (with the same age, no less) which could explain why Saki was so receptive of this sudden change in Nanasawa's memory and actions. It's like an early widowing: the two Nanasawas going out with Saki at the same time... Nana-san having to disappear from the time period and life going forward nonetheless... Saki and Nana-chan building a life together until they're living in a really nice apartment a decade later, spending each tender moment with each other until the inevitable merging of the Nanasawa's (and the likely disappearance of one)... and Nana-san waking up, at 4:38PM exactly 10 years later.
Imagine if this were the case, though. Saki and Nana-chan might have spent a period of time figuring out the possible circumstances of Nana-san's return, and what they would do in the event that Nana-chan might have to go someday. Adding to this scenario the transition of the Nanasawas' merging, say, with recollections of Nana-san's memories ever so slightly combining (or even replacing) Nana-chan's. Arguments would have started, tears would have been shed, alternatives would have been so desperately prayed for... only for both to accept that, "I won't be here forever, Saki-chan" as they held each other until sunrise.
This would culminate into that fateful afternoon, beforehand with Nana-chan suddenly feeling the uncontrollable urge to sleep even though it was morning.. a sign that the time is coming, and that it really was happening. Tears barely held back, Saki confessed her love to Nana-chan like she did the first time, earning a sweet smile and a tender kiss from Nana-chan before falling asleep before their lips could even part. That was it, and she hugs her, then goes out to the door to mentally prepares herself for what's to come as she just witnessed Nana-chan's passing.
With this, it circles back to Nana-san finally waking up, with Saki-chan coming back home and quickly finding out (with some questions just to be sure) that it really is Nana-san and that she's back. And so, she reorients Nana-san back to this new reality and letting her know that she really did make a difference all those years ago. This alternate possibility is equally tragic, but it's one that acknowledges the Nanasawas' individuality right to the ending panel, with more stuff to hopefully fill in most plot holes between departure and arrival. It's interesting, a bit sad, yet satisfying in its own way. At least I think it is.
...I can't believe I just made a headcanon narrative from an erotic manga's final chapter, right after reading how the MC just had a threesome with her crush and her past self. It's crazy.
Anw I love the manga. The art is smoking hot, and the plot is hearwarmingly wholesome. Thanks for the TL team, I had a really good time with this one (as you can see lmao).
p.s. no this did not take two and a half hours to put together in my head

Now i am interested, name? The level care people have put into the plot makes me think of this one H manga I read a number of years ago, where as the chapters when on comments started being solely about plot, and the plot became so interesting that it completely distracted from the horny aspects of the story. Honestly at a certain point it stopped being useful for its intended purpose.
I think it was Under Her TailNow i am interested, name?
I think it was Under Her Tail
Yes, it's an Undertale H manga.Is... Is this an Undertale H manga? Because I remember this name years before Toshishita no Senpai.
*good read btw
