Goro has already forgiven Glasses [Kanasaki], and Kogane has promised to stay away from curses, so what role does Stalker-kun play? Hmmm. Well, Zanma-sensei has returned him to a childlike state, and Zanma-sensei never does anything without a reason... Goro and Kogane are gonna be his foster parents, aren't they? The fact that Stalker-kun's return was in the works for so long is exactly why I love this series.

Yeah, this is not a spoiler because I haven't read ahead (other than next chapter), but I think it would be nice if he played a critical unexpected role in the final fight against the big baddie (that guy who used him) and therefore earned enough virtue to be reincarnated as at least a goldfish instead of a wharf roach.

...okay...I see...those lines "I was just punishing an evil fox" and "oh well, a human just happened to be saved" and now about how kami have to be fair and how she also saved stalker because she saved Goro...it has consistency, but it's still alien logic. I guess this is what you call "god's ways"
