This is why Toda's unlucky-in-love female club president stood out to me. She was such a stock character that she didn't feel like she belonged. Even though she only existed to make Yotsuyu jealous, I have come to expect more from this series. It sets a high standard for itself with its characters.This manga is a nice change of pace from the usual 'everyone is so zany but also really fucked up' that side characters tend to get pigeonholed in. Aside from the magic and shapeshifting, most of the supporting cast is just normal folks trying to live their lives[.]
