Yes! Two chapters a week when I don't have RL things. Because he just dropped chapter 174 on Pixiv - if we waited for the volumes we could never catch up (they release much slower than chapters) and if we only do one a week then we're just keeping even.

iirc it was for that October gods meetup, she was just leaving the city when the arc started (and warned Goro)

I always say "thanks as always to sarusa," and I mean it. Who knows if this manga will ever be licensed, if I'll ever learn enough Japanese to read it myself, or if I ever would have found it without this scan. Thank you, sarusa (and thumper) for everything you do to bring us this work which has become so dear to us.
From the title, I thought Mogami-sama was just gonna show up and poof away Kogane's curse, but no such luck. Not that I'm not down with a roadtrip full of potential heartwarming moments between Goro and Kogane. Also, Kogane's dad looks PISSED, and I wonder if that will have some payoff down the line.
Those relationship severing shrines sound pretty handy, btw...

I lowkey forgot a out mogami-sama the Office-fox-lady-god. Im guessing Kogane's cure will involve her plus some shenanigans. She did have a soft spot for them.

For everyone wondering where Mogami (Saijo Inari-sama) went, Zanma's spent a lot of time semi-lowkey over the last 4 volumes setting up that she will be GONE to Izumo for the whole month of October for the yearly gathering of the gods from all over Japan. At one point she specifically tells Akane 'something bad is going to happen but I can't help you on this one' and in another chapter 'It's all up to Goro-kun'. Probably because Zanma-sensei realized 'well damn, if we have a friendly goddess around she can just fix everything and that's boring!'
I know, 4 volumes is a long time (especially RL), and this is definitely not the only series you're reading, so I try to drop some reminders here and there. And what's coming up is definitely more interesting than Mogami just fixing it 😹 .

Hopefully it lets him do some fun world-building. We've seen the fox and tanuki villages, and we know other types of yokai exist (spooder lady, the recently disposed of camellia lady). He's been pretty good about not blowing the doors off with a never-ending cast of extras, so some latitude to stretch the universe (and have some fun doing it) seems warranted.

I looked up foods that are poisonous to foxes. It's not as bad as I feared but it's not great.
- No chocolate, so Valentine/White Day will be a pain.
- No xylitol to ease the pain of weight loss diets.
- No tea, so she will feel disconnected from Japanese culture.
- No excess of dairy products, which to be fair is pretty normal in Japanese culture.
- No grapes, so she can't lounge around while Goro feeds her grapes. You know, if that was a thing she wanted.
- No salty snacks, because she was already too salty and cursed a guy.
- No alcohol... well this is more of a problem for Kogane's dad - I bet he's real careful about curses.
- Anything she could normally eat as a fox could still be dicey if pesticides were used.

The manga also established (back in chap 12) that onions are hard for foxes to eat so she's presumably choking on those. It can cause vomiting, enteritis, and low red blood cell count. AFAICT they'd have to eat a LOT and wild foxes have been seen eating them, but this is our canon 😹 https://justagric.com/what-is-poisonous-to-foxes/
Even some humans have trouble with alliums, which is unfortunate because they yummy.
I do think your link is funny though. Fatty and high calorie foods may cause obesity and digestive issues... sugar may cause diabetes and dental issues... perhaps humans and foxes are not so different after all?
Oh yeah I forgot. One of the other things mentioned was that bread doesn't have much nutritional value to a fox. So perhaps Mugi-chan has become a little more human than is maybe good for her... a little more fox in her digestive system and she could eat lots and lots of bread? But maybe it would just go thru her like dairy and be unpleasant. More research is needed. All of you please go get a foxgirl and report back, ok?
