I'm really hoping that Stalker-kun does get turned into fried tofu. Not for the sake of justice, but to see what Goro's reaction is. The author is teasing that Goro will see the difficulties of living with a kitsune. So, let him see how they police themselves and handle criminals.Being so obsessed, you can transform into somebody else instead of your own oof. Also, I wonder when they stop him that they really do boil em in an oil pot if they break the law. It seems like he has no problems stealing from humans.
Yet he's also powerful enough to create a Barrier to keep Kogane trapped in. It's probably not so much a skill issue as it is he probably just hates humans to the point that he never took the time to fully perfect his own human form, but obsessed over Kogane to the point where he can create her form perfectly simply due to fantasizing about and probably stalking her for years."Also consider how creepy it is that Stalker-kun can't really manage his own human form but he has no trouble with Kogane's."
I did consider that! As Kogane says in chapter 30.5 "Use your hands and fingers to help until you get used to [the transformation]. You can just squeeze and shape until it's how you want."
He's a genuine psycho, at least from a human pov. He can't fathom sympathy, empathy, love, and other such interpersonal feelings. He truly believes that if he kills Goro, Kogane will simply be free to choose another mate, namely a certain stalker, who's super dedicated to her (in his own opinion). This actually isn't so different from certain animal behavior, where male animals, such as a bear, will kill the existing cubs (by another male), to make the mother bear go into heat again, thus giving the (killer) male a chance to mate with the female.Gotta be honest, what was his end goal? Even if he manages to kill him, now the woman he's into is out for blood, her sister who's the strongest person in the village, her mother an ex phantom thief, and the father who will rip him a new one.
Even if he somehow survives all that there's no way he'll ever be able to go back to the village after what he's done. He's risking it all for nothing.
low IQ criminal sociopath behavior. Good analogy with the real world animals, all kinds of species all over the world do that and it's often a successful strategy. Lions do this quite often too, kill the competing male, kill any cubs if there are any and now she is free to mate again. Good thing we sapient beings are more than just animals and will instead lean towards revenge in that positionHe's a genuine psycho, at least from a human pov. It's certainly an interesting concept to explore of what a relationship with a Kitsune or any other yokai is like and all the baggage that comes with it.I'm really hoping that Stalker-kun does get turned into fried tofu. It also brings up the fact that the Kitsune live far longer than humans do if we look at the parents. The mother is from the 1800s and the father is probably older or similar, so we're looking probably at that Kogane will probably outlive Goro well after his passing. And decades huh. I guess that answers some questions too scary to say out loud.
People who weren't taught common sense in consent and communication tend to act in insane ways unfortunatelyGotta be honest, what was his end goal?
