Him staying there doesn't really change the main point of the argument about her having friends.
Still he can be together with his daughter which is nice!

Thanks for your work too!

It's a bit strange that the elf cannot recognize that he is unusual as a human because he knew ancient human. Or maybe she is hiding it first and might reveal him later but in private room because having a dragon as human's dad will be a viral news spreading to entire world.

Nonetheless, Olivia's extraordinary magic power is because she is supplied by dragon's power as the mightiest being below God (in most story trope).

She didn't realize the dragon in front of her? Is she really a sage or at least the sage's friend who knew the dragon?

so yes and no. it was explained early on that our dragon dad is literally a dragon god of sorts, he's even worshipped at his mountain. She is the dragons shrine maiden or something along those lines according to the academy, and because he raised her and a dragons voice carries wisdom and power, that wisdom and power was imparted on her, like a gods blessing almost.

They don’t even compromise on actually asking Olivia, instead they just echo that Erudraco should tell her to become the god of highschool king of students, regardless of Olivia’s feelings. You can really tell they’re part of upper management rather than actual teachers.

Seems that the kingdom is just trying to raise a loyal and powerful pawn for nefarious purposes.

Not neccessarily nefarious, but it's in a Kingdom's best interest to provide the best education possible to gifted individuals within their sphere of influence.

The thing here is that the school just cares about the accolade, and isn't particularly interested in what the child actually wants or needs.
Which is a thing you see all too often when it comes to Prestigious Schools.

If the difference in development and interests was so great that Olivia couldn't Fit In socially they'd have had a point in suggesting she gets whisked off to this School for the Gifted.
But as-is, she doesn't stand out too much, despite her obvious potential, and actually fits in socially. Which... well.. doesn't really happen that often in Real Life™...

So ripping that away from her, defeating the whole point of her being In School And Making Friends would be.... monumentally stupid.

They’re really missing the point about why he’s against this. The primary reason he enrolled Olivia in the first place was so she could make friends. Pulling her out of school completely defeats that purpose. (Not to mention, human values like prestige and honor are probably just gonna go over his head, but it’s not like they know he’s a dragon. I mean, the elf might, but it’s looking like she doesn’t recognize him)
