If you read this and saw pg 28 and wondered where the nips are... I got this chapter before the volume released and found out just earlier it (volume 22) had actually released some weeks ago. So, uh, I will update this chapter to include the volume release materials like the previous chapters in a couple of days :wooow:

As of october 8th, the nips pages have been added in, in addition to the the few extra pages that are included in the volume releases :wooow:

Thanks for the chapter! I was literally thinking earlier of this and how long it's been but then I thought the volume probably still didn't release yet. lol

did art style change? noticed way less detail now ;-;
I wouldn't say it changed, but there does appear to be less detail in "less important" parts of the image. Like Chap 75 page 16, Shrien' face is detailed, but the rest of her body and hands look more like the rough sketch was left in place, as well as the backgrounds being mostly blank. Probably just a way for the artist to keep pumping out so many pages on a regular basis.

Unfortunately, this is a fairly common occurrence with manga that is published in magazines. The deadlines force the mangaka to cut corners, which is generally seen as loss of detail. One of the reasons some mangaka take a break when a new volume releases is because they go back through each chapter and fix some of the art. This is particularly noticeable in manga like Hunter x Hunter, where the Jump magazine versions can sometimes contain only very rough line art, but the volumes have those panels redrawn and refined.

We've been fortunate in that Terribly Incompetent Scans has been using volume releases for their scanlations, so seeing a magazine release version after so long may just jump out to some people.

The magazine raws are quite rough, I'd never noticed till now. Hope the volume release is cleaner. Not that I'll cry when we get 50 pages a month

  • Pg 10: “Except” typo’d as “expect”.
  • pg 27: “one of the “Vermilnear” words got typo’d as “Vamilinia” (makes me wonder if “Vermilinia” sounds more correct? “vermillion” [the color] + “-nia” [as in “Transylvania”])

Might as well have another pass at proofreading and fix that if you’re gonna update to the vol version @Wu
