Hm, he's too good at things. I hope the author introduces a flaw to him so the people that he has helped help him too. That would be nice.

I know that he's overall a really nice guy, but I do have to wonder, why does this family leave their child in the hands of a complete stranger? Trusting him to take their child to and from school. Unless they hired him, which is understandable, but still. They're not related, right? They met in the very first chapter.

@13man18 don't know if the author has though about a logic behind it, but the most logical for me would be that they live near each other on top of them having known each other long enough to become friend

I mean it's far less scary to let a stranger take your kid back from school when you know where they live, and even less when it's not a stranger

I mean, we don't really have any definite timeline of when this took place. For all we know, they could have been friends for weeks or months before they let him, or he offered to babysit in the past. The only thing we have to determine is that the husband doesn't know him, and that's not completely out of the way when you look at Japanese culture and how the dad usually is stuck at work.

As cool as that peach trick is, it's way too much fucking work just to eat a freaking peach. Maybe I'd go to the trouble if I was like making a fancy cake with peach decorations or something like that and I wanted absolutely perfect-looking slices, but if I'm just gonna eat a peach, I'll eat it with skin and all just as it is. More fiber that way too.
