Props to this manga for all of it's foreshadowing and set up. Actually studying his opponents beforehand with the arena, building up his experience and training then actually applying it properly to his fights instead of always pulling out new bullshit, and thinking up of clever strategies and tactics while also not solely relying on MC to wafflestomp everything into dust. This manga honestly has some pretty great progression, WHILE ALSO FULFILLING MY KINKS OF STRONG LADIES AND LITTLE GUY, so I'm pretty confident I can call this a favorite of mine, even if it is just generic fantasy
