Oh, lmao, okay. I guess that's fair. Overall, it feels like it tried to add in a lot of gimmicks to shake up the Bakarina-style villainess formula, but I feel like the story ended up a bit muddled as a result. I was enjoying it, but I guess that's how it goes.

it is already over? just like this? even though it wasn't anything special it was still way more fun than many trash manga out there, i'm still astonished how rent a bitch got so many seasons...

Well, thanks for finishing the translation. Didn't seem like there needed to be much more anyway, maybe 5 - 10 chapters, but I was enjoying it but by bit.

Surprised it even got picked up for an adaptation if it got cancelled after volume 1

Might have been a soft reboot to give the story another shot, not my most favorite villainess story, but doesn’t deserve to linger in limbo with a half finished chapter.

Thanks for translating!

Thank you for the scanlation. It makes sense this wouldn't have taken off, honestly the plot is... really really stupid. The livestream chat adds nothing to the story, the speedrun angle makes the world shes in feel cheap, and her actions are that of an idiot. Additionally, there's nothing good in the story to latch onto to keep interest. I feel bad for the author but I don't think writing is their strong suit.

villainness bro.....

thank you for the translation nonetheless. things like this remind me that publishing business is tough, if you don't sell enough, move along you had your chance.

I mean, we reading on a pirate manga website might have contributed to the hiatus.
I seriously doubt 50 lost sales* from the people who read it here will make a difference in whether a series lives or dies. As with all manga/LN, it is all about Japan sales, whatever mix of markers they use to gauge success, whether it is sales of manga, merch, light novels, and more.

*and let's be honest, that is very generous because most people on pirate sites wont buy the physical or digital manga regardless of whether they have access to buy it in English or not
