The relationship between Kiriha and Kazuya was what made the early chapters. Its been obvious for a while now that he intended to bring her back but I cant imagine removing her for so long but I cant imagine it did anything for his reader count. Between that and a poorly timed flashback, I'm glad this didn't get the axe.

Maybe now we can get back to the fun.
