I was thinking the same thing. Leaving the manga on a cliffhanger that sets up the two living a happy adventuing life with each other is good enough for me. But this is even better!

I sincerely hope this is the case. Tia and Ed’s relationship deserves to be more than just platonic. The sacrifices they made in order to see the other is just too astounding for their relationship to just be platonic.

This, this right here, is what made the whole concept so interesting. Yes he's redoing things with (some) knowledge about how things would have played out, but he's got Tia along to both help him accomplish things he couldn't do solo AND to complicate things by not sticking to the plan.

Man this has to be one of the best isekai works ever. Its so good it hurts to wait this long for a new chapter ;(

Really hope this one ends up getting an anime adaptation and a decent and faithful one at that

the sad reality of anime adaptation is that almost guaranteed to use the LN as the base. even when the manga vastly improve it.
others already explain why thats a really bad thing for this title

i am afraid it will be like Faraway paladin, the manga really feels like one of the best, while the anime just make it an okay anime with design that looks inferior to both LN sketch and manga artstyle.

Honestly, I would riot if this were the case. Ed went through all that effort of clearing 100 worlds which would take either months or years to do most likely. The man is probably older than Tia cause of that. Sacrifices all that effort just so he could undo such a catastrophic mistake and most importantly, so that Tia wouldn’t cry. That’s already pretty romantic in itself and had Tia not reciprocated, I would have been fine with the “at least my friends don’t get to die” angle. But she did reciprocate by abandoning an entire world just so she could see Ed again and not only that, but was determined to stay by his side. And all we would get from that is a “hey buddy”? Consider me a clown for hoping for more 🤡.
