Holy shit I really like this manga.

First of all, I love how instead of wasting panels of MC explaining and handing out their gears, he incorporated that into the fight scene. Secondly, this is the perfect time for the hero to be questioning the MC, and rather than doing it in a bland and generic manner like "What in the world are you??!!!!", it's done in a VERY good way. Instead of going "I'm the hero! You can't be stronger than me!" he calmly explains that what he's doing is super unnatural.

Saien said he saw Ed forge a sword, a staff and gauntlets, but Tia got a sword... and Ed got another sword. Was the TL last time wrong? Anyway, swords being used like wands is cool and I support getting Tia a sword instead of the typical staff for the cool factor, if nothing else.

Yeah ditto on Tia getting the sword. I'm assuming Saien saw the bokuto and thought it was a staff, but I'm also glad they switched it up and avoided that cliche and gave her a sword.
