Dual wielding longswords? Who taught her it was a good idea, is some one trying to get her killed?
They're even drawn as longswords, so it's not a weird translation thing either. You CAN use a longsword one handed without too much issue, but it's still a lot more awkward than just using a sword designed for one handed use. Dual wielding them just makes it even worse.

Now, I’m not against a bit of worldbuilding, quite the contrary, it helps develop the characters and the background world around them, which is always a very good thing.
But let’s face it, the manga has become a Slice of Life at this point, hasn’t it ?

Yep, seems like I completely forgot about it or the LN take different approach than the WN...
:notlikethis:
That is all in the WN. The LN hasn't got this far and most likely won't change it. This far the LN only expand the story and altering minor detail to fit the new expanded story. In fact all the "skipped" story in the anime was mostly never skipped, because a lot of things in the manga was not in the wn.

I am delighted with many people enjoyed the world building and side characters interaction. I don't want to reply to the other who complain the main plot barely progressing.

As long as the story still progressing and interesting it's so very fine. I don't ever want another naruto shippuden disappointment who killed the side characters' good potential side story to the point it's only talking about the circumstances of team 7. This title's plot story is very fine. They still would complain about other things anyway

True. It's just a longer way of story that usually in generic instant overpowered isekai mc. It's the biggest challenge of overpowered mc's story that there is no enemy who could pose a challenge to mc. the story will be a slice of life in no time

Actually, manga adapts LN quite accurately. You'll see a lot in the future where 30-40% is about Makoto or some characters going around and talk
I guess that's part of this series's charm. You don't see this much world buiding in an isekai often.

Maybe it was a mistake to watch the anime, I am so confused with the timelines.
The perfect time to start with the novel I bet.

Man, I hate the anime for cutting all these good interaction and events
In defense of the anime, they had just 25 episodes in the second season. As they wanted season 1 to focus on Makoto solo, his fight with Sofia on the plains was the perfect climax. As a result, needing 2 episodes to introduce the other heroes at a minimum, they had to pick and choose the events key enough to flow smoothly until they reach the next major and climatic event, the Rotsgard Academy Tournament and the events immediately following it. To cover this or some other parts would have added 2-3 episodes, which they probably lacked funds for.

So, while it is sad we don't see more Toa and her party, Komoe and Rinon's friendship, the bits on the school and students during summer break with how devoted Jin and the sisters are to Makoto by this point, or Bor's story, the anime had a smooth flowing storyline that didn't leave too many jarring things popping up with little set up.

I think the most jarring part is Bor after the tournament as we never see Makoto meet Bor, but Makoto helping the demi-humans in the slums is perfectly in character in the anime, especially after Bright's organization kidnapped them, and so some relationship can be inferred by him choosing Bor.

If any of you cowboys will try to make a lime latte, please film it so we can laugh with you.

My theory of SOL is every series has some SOL, in those moments where the plot needs rest. Think of Naruto visiting the ramen shop in between training arcs and battle arcs. There's a spectrum of how much SOL the story is given time for. At a certain percentage (somewhere around 60%? 70%?) it gets the genre tag.

Tsuki Ga Michibuku does have more SOL than the average isekai, and I haven't actually counted, but my estimation is it's around 40-50%.

This can be off-putting for readers who come to isekai for the magic fights or the harem hijinx, or for the readers who come for the SoL vibes. It's a question of values. I like Tsuki because I like the action and the non-action equally.

Thinking about it, the world does grant super-strength as you level up. By level 70 she can probably swing a long sword one-handed. The issue is counterbalance, since the mass will produce an equal and opposite reaction even with super-strength. Usually a fighter would have to brace their weight on the back foot, but she looks like she weighs 110lbs soaking wet. Maybe the second sword always moves in opposing motion? Like windmill fighting!

Man I really like this artist's style. Even a guild receptionist is pretty and cute.

I'm actually surprised that both Yuno and Sif was so humble about their abilities. They weren't cocky at all.
well first they got pretty much the worst non fully lethal curse known to man (for them at least) and got a lot more humble, after that their pride got shattered by Makoto and lady Lizard that curbstomped them.... a lot, almost forgot the time they were getting some confidence back the lesser dragon and banana rangers made it disappear again

The @Knighto said pretty much all. Even if they come out of curse without some lessons Makoto's Sparta style full course training menu ensure that they understood that there always be someone stronger and how much life like to throw curve balls at you.
And they were suppose to be intelligent/educated enough to take over the company eventually.

Just like in "OnePunchMan", Saitama is vehicle to solve problems despite being MC, mostly boring by himself. Without rest of the heroes, villains, civilians and Association he can't shine.

Also, i love seeing who really wears the pants in the rembrandt family. That woman would scare a dragon.
Scare? Not really.. Actual dragons are intelligent..

They most likely would invite her to tea as a fellow expert in applied implied life-choice regrets, though...
Y'know... chat a bit, exchange hints and tips about chilled cold-servings... ;)
