It's weird how far the manga is behind the anime, it really goes into every single detail. I didn't check if there is a novel yet, hm.
That what happens when someone decides to cut out half the story because they want to adapt all the way up to where the source is for some reason.

It's better than Reincarnated as Slime LN! ... Okay that's not saying much, since Slime LN degenerates into (boring, stupid) corporate meeting notes much of the time.
Bro, fucking finally, I found another one that has the same complaints about Slime LN. I really wanted to start the novel but god fucking damn it's so tedious to start it.

That different in the Novel too? Great, now i can't ask spoiler what happen after this.

well this detail is different, it doesn't mean the outcome will change though.

Kuzunoha employees keep him from contacting Luria. The drugs turn him and a shitload of other people into a monster/chimeras that need to be put down, right at the end of the tournament arc. they rampage around town, all serve as a giant distraction for an invasion. MC's Students have to fight him. they win, he miraculously survives.......only for Mio to show up and decide it's better if he doesn't, so she finishes him off. IIRC his last thoughts were basically "I just wanted to apologize" (to the girl, not MC.)

did they skipped this part in the anime ???
This is episode 13, or part of episode 13 is this one and the previous one. They include some of what was said, Makoto being unreadable and such, but Shiki's protecting himself and the exact description of Makoto's analysis were left out. Shinai also felt more scummy in the anime in how he treated Makoto.

Who from what i have hears loves the anime but hated the manga until he heard the manga was selling well.
Bruh. This kind of author drama nonsense reminds me of Maruyama of Overlord being a crazy hater about people translating his spin off that he wanted to keep Japan exclusive and some other nonsense with him as well.

This bishop and the staff in her faction seem to be quite competent. I wonder how she ended up being appointed, and how while newly appointed she's already gathered some competent staff, and I also wonder who the other factions are who would be able to get in her way. I guess we'll see through the world building at some point.

Since the attire appears to be chosen by the person themselves, I guess that the bishop is wearing that veil by choice rather than because it's part of a bishop's attire, and I guess it's to hide that scar which we only saw in that one frame. It's a bit surprising that someone who has been disfigured in the face is in a high position for the church of that goddess, but then again, the object of their worship is described differently than how the goddess actually is, so it makes sense that a scar would not be too much of an impediment for someone who has the necessary skills to navigate the politics of the church and rise through the ranks.

It's a bit weird that the priest introduced himself to Kuzunoha with the request of the "old geezers" but he's apparently not a part of their faction and is instead in the bishop's faction. I guess it makes sense that Kuzunoha was directed to the bishop rather than the "old geezers", whoever they are, since they request was flatly rejected. Still, they can't be too happy about it though so I'd expect some movement from their side, though it seems they've done nothing for now.
im guessing the current bishop was a rival of the previous one. and since the last got 'offed' by rona and was implicated to be part of the 'anti-goddess group', safe to say she won the job uncontested and strengthen her faction.

and i think the 'old geezers' were scrambling for anything just to show they still have some influence by including implicating makoto and kuzunoha company trading for selling medicine that rivals temples but at a much more affordable price. i think there are quite a few people, nobles, 'hyumanist supremacist' and other business (or the trade guild) are not happy due to makoto employing demi-humans like aqua and eris as well letting those from the slums to purchase his medicine at a fraction cost.

if I remember right, she was a strong adventurer too in the past (like Lime when the series started), and well Rona pretty much helped her a lot, as she took the bishop and made him look bad, so she screwed that bishop faction (as you say).

yep yep, buuut
the anime kinda skipped how much he realized he was brainwashed, until the end of the festival, where he revives as a monster with his original form, Mio appears, she sensed the guy and decided by herself to took him out, and he question if Kuzunoha hated him that much, to Mio pretty much telling him he doesn't give a F*ck about him, but she can't forgive him for being disrespectful to her beloved master.

also pretty much Rona making those chimeras monster on the city is what made Makoto say F*CK THE DEMONS TOO (remember that he was already mad at the hyumans when the merchant guild pretty much humilliates him), and that's why he invades kanaleon and ask his people to conquer the place, he saves the heroes because he was sent there by bug goddess.
