The page you're curious about is the one where he mumbles something after his inner monologue to Tomoe who replies with a "Yes?"? She didn't read his mind, she's just confused with his face being serious all of a sudden.

Tomoe read his mind to figure out why he was going to the guild and that's how she knew it was for the MC. He wouldn't have said anything to Tomoe because he's trying as much as possible to help the MC out because he likes the MC but the MC never asks for Rembrandt's help so he goes out of his way to do what he can. The text that was above Rembrandt and Tomoe when they were talking that wasn't in a speech bubble should all be text showing what Tomoe read from his mind, and the "Hmm" should be Tomoe thinking that internally after reading his mind.

I did notice the head of the merchants guild coming off much more understanding but maybe he will be a complete asshat during the actual meeting venting all his frustrations onto MC. I haven't read the novel, only anime but I am intrigued by what will trigger him to lose his temper again like when mini-Tomoe was killed.

Because he is so powerful and not of this world he deals in absolutes cause it truly is all beneath him. I was reeling when he just killed a bunch if assassins and then went about his day.
