Well the spiders were kinda scary...

I can't really imagine what issue would be a obstacle for them, because even a deadly epidemy was halted in less than a day. Their economic power is big enough and they have towns working and self sufficient with products ten thousand times superior of what they can find in the real world. They are super mega powerful too.

Like I said, I can't imagine which realistic/well written obstacle can appear now...
