This was a fun read. I don't think it's a particularly clever read, with "ah hah!" moments, like I was expecting from a detective style mystery, but Rikai is a compelling character, and enough to hold things together well. Wish there was more.

This was worth the reading. The ending was a surprise and filled my curiosity. Thanks for bringing us to this fantastic end.

welp i got like half of it right, mostly the part about him taking the blame for it, meh it was fun anyway, just one thing doe, i cant say i believe the sister is a ''good person'',violence is a natural response to stuff BUT getting stabby stabby and actually acting on those violent tendencies is actually not good, it doesnt matter how good a person is in some aspects if other are actually evil
For example lets say some highschool dude gets good grades, is respectful, works charity, etc, BUT one day her rapes and murder someone, now comes the classic ''He's a good kid! looks at all the good things he does!'', but like all that doesnt mean jackshit anymore, the minute he did the thing, hes done, he cant be categorized as a nice person anymore, hell it could be other behaviour like fucking hurting animals BUT if its stuff like stealing then some ppl may be more inclined to still categorize him as a good kid, that just did a bad thing.

fuck im rambling, my point is the moment someone uses actual violence i cant think of them as good no matter what they did before, like obviously i dont think of them as evil, i just categorize them as neutral i guess, just not good. And the sister really needs some therapy, hell they both do, and no charges against the mother? well it was an unofficial investigation so i guess its fine.

Thks for translating this manga, it was a fun read

I'm glad this actually got picked up and finished. I remember finding the original four chapters and really liking it only to find out it hadn't been updated in three years. Thank you.

@yellanha assuming that wasn't a lie to begin with, yeah, it probably does.
I mean, there's four more volumes, so some exposition is bound to happen.
At the very least I know volume 3 starts going deeper into the Tsukimizuki family affairs, but I haven't read any of that.

Maybe someday someone will translate the novels (not me), and then we'll know all we need to know :)

An excellent ending. This was a very enjoyable ride, and it's always nice when a story ends with both closure and an open door to imagine more things about the characters and their futures.

Thanks for translating this to the very end!
