Almost forgot about my own rule, lol.
Anyways, here's todays chapter. Hope you like it (or at least understand it bc' of my poor english skills).:salute:

Your english is quite good. Everything is understandable and easy to read and none of it feels stiff or awkward like how it can often turn out when someone is translating into a language that isn't their main one.

Trust me, I've seen far worse work from people who claim that they're far better English speakers/writers. You did great.

"That caught my attention."
Other than that, I'd say you did well overall.

thanks for the chapter!

I'm pretty sure it's "Can someone change their personality this much because of memory loss?" btw

Edit: also I think this means that Takae only appeared because Marika was so stressed because of the mom. Then when Takae "took over", she's also stressed out because she's an adult in a child's body! After that she was stressed with having to hide her true identity, her relationships with people that the mom didn't know about and a million other things.

Basically I think stress was the trigger and what made Takae stay, and that's why she's gone, because nearly all of her worries were resolved (her daughter married a decent guy, Marika's mom knew about Takae's family and was starting to get along with them and she even changed for the better).

I agree! That would make a lot of sense to me, narratively. I could see the original Marika, being in a period of her life where she was so afraid of her Mom she didn't want to go home, just retreating inside of herself. And that was what brought Takae's original personality, memories, and unresolved issues to the surface. It was Marika's self-defense mechanism and also allowed Takae to take care of her own worries from her past life.

I kind of hope that Takae doesn't fully come back in the end. Marika just becomes "whole" and the Niijima's come to accept that Marika is Takae's soul reborn, but is also a new person with a new life.

you know, it's also possible that Takae actively personality SD'd after getting confronted by the office OL on the situation being unfair towards her romance. Doesn't help that the dad is now fairly ostracized in the office, iirc, though Takae wouldn't know. We've gotten hints on that side from the snippets of Takae thinking back on what the office lady said.

Changes have been made in that page. Thanks for noticing those mistakes from my part, I'll do better to not repeat them :d

How many of you never heard of the word "incongruity" before this chapter?

Seeing this chapter just really hammers home how much the family hasn't moved on from their original state of affairs at all. They became way too complacent with the reincarnation without ever stopping to truly think whether this is a permanent miracle, or a temporary one that should've been used to patch up any loose ends/regrets that they had.

Anyways, thanks TL for coming out of the retirement home to take over the reins of the old TL o7

It’s easy to say that but when you’ve dedicated your life/heart/soul to a love, and said love dies only to come back reincarnated, how do you just move on?
Never said it was an easy thing, it'll be a tough thing to go through that's for sure

I love this manga. I didn't expect this manga to explore things I have already loved to read about.

I don't see any incongruity.
Of course Marika's personality changed with the lost of Takae's memories, just as Marika's personality changed when she gained Takae's memories.
