Then all the single panel shots of the cord of the cab comm device. Which might as well directly correlate to him driving the cab because later on the phones changed to be wireless and he's still killing with the cab so do cabs all upgraded to not use the wired comm device anymore?

Wow okay I didn't think a phone cord would be the trigger & that the phone would be used again like it did for the passage of time in the previous chapters. I still don't see what the point of him learning what triggered him to kill because like he stated in this chapter, he got live a long life & killed so many people. I guess it depends on which “misbuttons” bother her the most but other than her being an underground idol with handshake events I imagine she doesn’t always bump into ppl, crowded places aside I imagine the average person walking outside would avoid /keep distance
