I think I would have probably gone with "the man of the house" or the "father of the house" in the place of Mr. Tsumugi or Tsumugi-san when referring to father, even if it sounds a bit dated. Its a turn of phrase an English speaking detective could plausibly have used and seems to fit more with Japanese culture even if its not what the raws literally said.

I don't think she's actively looking for the people who killed her family, as all of the murderers she's killed aren't exactly suspects for burglary. And given that she's read their minds, she knows that none of them have killed her family. In fact, I think the reveal would be that Spica's first murders are the burglars who killed her parents
