Oh well, I guess it's more annoying if the MC keeps fumbling around the point, when they're clearly the best guardian at that point in time.

Actually, no, disregard. He totally looks like a creep with the kid, and the world isn't full of irredeemable people yet. It doesn't really look like demons are sworn enemies either. The kid wasn't quite in a 'dangerous if not protected' stage, so it's hard to get used to.

In Japan, it's normal for small children to sleep in the same bed as their parents (small apartments with few rooms). It's not like in the west where they only sleep with the parents if they had a bad dream or something.
Plus it's not like there is a second bed in that room anywhere, they even have to share the only pillow.
This situation is partly to blame for killing the Japanese sex life after kids are born lol
