Usagi Drop deserves to be spoiled. Man, that ending....Not only did it feel creepy because of the age difference and the fact that he raised her, but they were also technically aunt and nephew.

In the case of THIS manga, I feel like there’s actually a little more leeway if it ends up with Dale and Latina in a relationship. At most there’s like a 13 year difference between them, and not like 25-30, and it seems pretty evident that Dale (being 18 himself) isn’t an adult yet. Again, I would really rather not it go towards them falling into a romantic love, but at least it would be slightly better than Usagi Drop.

Latina's totally gunning for Dale. There's only a 10 year age difference, so it's physically impossible for her to be her dad...

Dunno. Feels a little weird, but I'm going with it so far. Here, it's like Latina has a crush but Dale's not doing anything inappropriate towards a kid. The fantasy / medieval world setting with Latina having magic powers and being mentally far ahead of human 8-year-olds makes it less weird imo.

I ain't reading Usagi Drop though. Miss me with that.

What font the TLs were using for Latina parts? It perfectly captures how she is not that used to speaking yet and is just cute

I feel like she's going to confuse "friend" with "girl/boyfriend" since dale did a bad job of explaining. Latina's complicated past doesn't really help either
