Well, if the 9th actually going to come out. Instead of "hasn't been translated yet" I think it's more like the author haven't even write it yet. If it have been published, we should have able to get the illustration early. But we have seen none of them, (the 8th afterword mention about anime related short stories) so i don't believe he already finished another volume.
