Some good ideas, but bruh.
Near as anyone can tellCan someone explain that ending to me? Is that him at the end? Or does he just stay as Noah?
I feel like this story started really strong but the ending was kinda eh.Near as anyone can tell
Haru and Noah/Classrep2.0 watch over humanity until they destroy themselves and 'Harulings' come in and replace them in every feasible way: genetically, culturally and spiritually. Humanity has become appropriated in the fullest extent possible. The end sequence of 'a day in the life of humanity 2.0' is a cycle that is not too different than exchanges past humans 1.0 would have had, but there is still some lingering genetic memory of Haru and Noah's contribution to the present drama... and bit of their story in every clumsy confession and flirty glance.
In reality we may not really know without the author telling us, sadly the most unfortunate kind of storytelling.
The last chapter makes it a bit better. I'd also say 5-5.5To me this series started off strong, but it started to feel really rushed up to the fairly lackluster ending. There was a lot of potential and different places the story could have explored, but none of it really mattered in the end. I liked the art style however. I could go on, but I'd be exploding a dead horse at this point.
It's a solid 5.5/10 for me.
