All that effort to change only to be confronted with the fact he’s not changed at all

I don't think Ueno felt betrayed, it seems like he actually saw how similar they are, being tortured by it and being weak to resist it, and that maybe he will have to come out with all the truth instead of just pushing it behind and pretending he was never like that, using Manaka as a new starting point in his life. As both have been victim to similar sexual assaulting and telling everything to each other maybe they can come out of it better even if not together.

I just wished they didn't stop Chisaki, motherfucker needs to roll down some stairs along with their whole club
I agree as a friend but not as a partner.

sure, but it was definitely framed more like he was subconsciously devaluing her because of it, like he was hurt and betrayed by it, which is stupid. if you look at the yankee girl, she also shows shock in one panel (the one before she grimaces and grabs the dude), but the facial expression and the eyes are different, and it's not just because they're 2 different characters or that their personalities are different. it's more about their thoughts; he has pitch black, hollow eyes because he feels betrayed, in addition to just being shocked. the way he focuses on the word "developed", too.
He was flashing back to all the times he had with the girls. It was shock, hurt, pain, and introspection. He realizes that they’re very similar, both developed weird sexual kinks by people that aren’t good for them. Hating on ueno here is just dumb,

It's funny to me that Tsubomi is still the only one who came to that realization and felt slightly remorseful(hence why she stopped herself from calling Ueno her friend). Just another reason why she's best girl of the bunch.
She truly is the best girl. I really want her and ueno to get together. Bare minimum for them to lose their virginities to one another.

Everyone is doing whatever they want and get no consequences for it, so it’s not a surprise that this is where we are now.

Seriously, every character just seems to act on whatever their impulse is in the moment to a near pathological degree. No forethought, no empathy, just do whatever feels best at the time.

Now if only someone would follow those impulses and lock all the doors from the outside on that karaoke bar and burn down the place…

looks like the this arc will further the catharsis regarding Ueno and his growth as well as the start of introspection of the three bullies regarding on their past bullying antics and effect to him. hopefully this would also provide a solid closure regarding Moka's past relationship. and now, I'm interested on a possible next arc regarding the other girl and jav actress look-alike?

Welp manipulative to the core.

Im somewhat surprised people would rather get angry and ueno for standing there and doing nothing when that is literally the premise of his character. Standing helpless while others take advantage of him.

The kiss scene seems kinda pointless since they showed the backstory so we kinda already knew that it was gonna be this way. Oh well I suppose shock factor and all that

Ueno seeing himself and his past in Manaka situation kinda pisses me off because if he accepts/rejects her confession it feels like choice based on a pity decision instead of genuine affection

I wish this came after either accept or rejection. But can't have it my way

Before this happened, I had a feeling Ueno-kun was going to reject Manaka because he thought she was too good for someone as broken as him; now that he sees that she also has a past that she doesn't want to relive again, I wonder if he'll step up to confort her and be more resistant to the other girls' advancements

There we go, Ueno finally realized that Moka is programmed like him. I said my thoughts about that situation last chapter, so this time it will be about Chisaki.

Honestly, I can't wait for Chisaki-focused chapters to how much this trip affected her. Hearing from Riku that he programmed Moka and seeing Moka's tears should cause her to rethink her bullying ways towards Ueno. I don't expect Chisaki to give it up permanently unless she finds another method to get her aroused, but I do expect her to be more 'ethical' about it by attempting to get into a proper S&M relationship with Ueno. I think that will happen once Chisaki realizes her true feelings towards Ueno.

I also wonder if Riku is just like Chisaki by which he can't cum unless he's cheating on Moka or having sex with Moka in general...

Unless the author fucks up the execution, that will easily be the best chapter in the series for a lot of people.

Tsubomi is last of the bully trio not to attempt insertion with Ueno. 3rd time the charm, author?

Tsubomi is the only one of the 3 to know what they did was wrong. Remember, she wishes she could call herself his friend.
