He doesn't see her in a romantic way for the same reason he does see Manaka: a quest for "normalcy". His positive interactions, such as they are, with Manaka is entirely based around her representing normality.
Thank you for enlightening us on this matter.

I admit Chisaki is interesting but I don't like her character at all, even if she's improving this chapter by apologising.
She is victim blaming him lmao. Where is she apologizing to HIM, her rape victim? She is so disturbing.

I think your analysis is consistent with what the series intends a sharp reader to infer. That having been said, I think conflating "empathetic" with "good" when maybe "cowardly" fits better is a mistake of japanese bdsm morality, and to put it more simply, "totally fucked in the head."

When the series' insufficiently-challenged assumption/thesis is that "hey rape victims: if you cum, that's twice as shameful as being the actual rapist, and you're the actual sick fuck here" it's perfectly natural to put "preserving your relationship with your chosen partner" as morally equivalent to "inconveniencing my rapist."

Sorry, but empty-headed porn logic + kink validation for humiliation gooners isn't real morality.

Not that you're saying it is. Nothing personal. I'm just day drinking on a sunday afternoon and was reminded by your comment that this series is basically intrinsically evil.

You get it, right? Saying they're "equally broken" when her sex crimes are what broke him is... bad.
FR. It's so absurd that people are having this discussion and actually entertaining the idea that they are "equally to blame" or "in this together." This chapter, especially, was disturbing with how she pinned the blame on "them both." Like wtf?

I believe most people do not think they are equally to blame at all.

Whatever helps her sleep at night, I guess. Self-reflexion is a skill, but obliviousness can be developed too, if it helps someone live their life the way they want.

To claim that he is to blame at all for their torture and rape of him is absurd to begin with. It's not even a discussion or comparison that should have to be made.
