Since I started playing Umamusume: Pretty Derby, I’ve been constantly lurking in Umamusume communities on Reddit, so I have a pretty good picture of what’s going on there.
On November 5th,

Xcution on bato.to, made a
post on Reddit announcing that he had decided to translate chapters of Cinderella Gray. He said he planned to release very fast updates and quickly catch up with the raws.
In the comments, he was advised not to do it, especially not to upload the chapters to MangaDex, and at first, he agreed. By that point, he had already uploaded chapters 150 and 151 to MangaDex, but deleted them after getting shit on, exactly as he had been warned would happen.
The following is a comment from the person who told him not to upload there, followed by his reply saying he would delete the chapters:
So, he actually ‘translated’ chapters 150 to 195 and uploaded them to bato.to and Mangapark. He stopped at 195 because someone on X had already translated chapters 196 to 206. So he only really worked on chapters 150 to 195; the other ones he uploaded here are not his work.
As for why he went back on his word and uploaded the chapters here, I assume he saw other people sniping the manga, noticed some positive reactions to chapters 151 and 208, and thought, ‘Fuck it, if some people are appreciating it, I might as well upload my shit too.’ But he didn’t stop at uploading his own work; he also uploaded someone else’s.
