@Litreara I was checking the best player and for some reason now Guts is the new meta? Of course, they also have high Speed + Power, and Wit as well. Is it time to use my old Guts cards now?

I've never tried Gutsmaxxing, but from what I've seen, it's a pretty high-roll strategy.

Well, since I've got many (like, MANY) of them to the point I can max them now... I should give it a try. I even have the same as the one I checked. But judging how Trackbrazer works it makes sense, as you can increase three stats at once incredibly fast with 60% megaphone + guts item and once you have it you can simply spam study. Once I save some coins, I'll give you a report about it.

Well, I may give it a few more tries but if the RNG system keeps sucking this bad I'll send all my horses to the abattoir to get some quality meat at least. It is really off-putting getting less Guts with a Guts deck than with my regular one:

From what I've seen, this card is essential for Gutsmaxxing:

It gives a 15% race bonus, plus power and speed bonuses.

I've seen good results even without her, but it is indeed a really good card. Now, I've had enough RNG for a while and I stopped having fun, so it's time to call it quits. I'll transfer any little luck I may have for you but this is like MangaDex tournaments: the game is rigged from the start.

In the vanilla scenario (URA) yes, almost two months after the game was released the most I could get was B+ or A. For the team-based scenario the most I've got has been A+ (it's not like I've played much) and Trackblazer S+ (under 17K). Besides the cards of your choosing and their level, the major struggle at the beginning of each scenario is the low score that depends on their legacies and stars, so if you have a strong start you can get a high score while being newbie.

Gemini Cup (CM14) Report — ...

Long story short: I got absolutely destroyed. I think I went 8/30 in the second round, but I managed to win 3 out of 5 races in one set, which was enough to qualify for the Group A Finals and guarantee at least 1,200 Carats. Winning is pretty much out of the question this time. I'll probably finish 3rd.

Gemini Cup (CM14) Results — No Surprises Here

Welp, as predicted, 3rd place. I probably should've tried Gutsmaxxing since it was a duel track, but it is what it is.

Next CM is an XOguri track, so everyone and their mother is going to be running her with 2 Dominators. The good news is that I only need to train her. It's a shame I can't reuse the one I built for CM12, though. The Trackblazer burnout is real.
