Next CM is probably going to be kind of boring. Everyone and their mother is going to run Christmas Oguri with two Dominator debuffers. I’m trying to get usable parents, but RNG isn’t on my side so far.
Congrats on winning Pisces! And uh, haha, busted :dogkek:
Even with XOguri I think I won't win because of how many will use her

I’ve got 18 tickets saved up for her and a dream… if Mr. C.B.’s SSR card wasn’t going to come out by the end of the month, I’d pull for her. And I have Taiki, so I can borrow Nishino if I really want both of their skills.

Okay, I couldn’t resist and pulled for Nishino Flower… and I had to go all the way to pity. But! While pulling for her, I also got a bunch of Umas I didn’t have:
  • Haru Urara (New Year)
  • Smart Falcon
  • El Condor Pasa (Fantasy)
  • Gold City
  • Seiun Sky (Ballroom)
So yeah… definitely worth it.

I thought training Christmas Oguri would be easy… boy, was I wrong. She just sucks during the Junior Year.

150 pulls and no Nishino Flower. Oh well. Gotta cut my losses, because I'm aiming for Palmer, Nakayama and hopefully Sweepy.

Oh wait. Sweepy and Aston Machan is before Nakayama Festa...
Oh fuck there's Copano Rickey as well...
Shouldn't have pulled this month...

They say you should never pull if you don’t have enough Carats to reach pity, or if you’re not willing to go all the way to pity… because it can end up like this. Also, goated montage, pretty funny too.

After six days of grinding, I finally got a usable Christmas Oguri:

Man, training Christmas Oguri is just painful. She’s terrible early on because her Ult is basically useless without recovery skills. And the odds of getting Medium S, Corner Recovery, and triggering all the SSR card events to secure the gold skills are just way too low… On top of that, Trackblazer is packed with useless main scenario events, not to mention the shop RNG. God, I hate Trackblazer.

As for this Christmas Oguri, I think it’s fine overall. I wanted more Wit, something around 1100, but that’s really hard to pull off since the only card that gives No Stopping Me! is Yukino Bijin’s SSR Wit card, and man, that card sucks. Plus, my shop RNG this run was just okay, nothing special.

Skill-wise, it could definitely be better, but realistically, even with better hints, I wouldn’t have had the SP to buy everything anyway. So it is what it is. I’m not going back to the mines for this.

Now all that’s left is getting two solid Dominator debuffers, which is going to be another headache since they’ll have to be Late Surgers.

I'm curious, is the game itself fun? If so, what's the gameplay like? I might check it out.
If you play it casually, even in the current scenario, which is a pain in the ass (Trackblazer), it’s pretty fun. But if you want to play it more seriously and be competitive in PvP events, it can be quite frustrating because, unless you put a lot of money into it, you’re going to hit a wall.

Emphasis in "a lot of money" (I don't put any because I don't support P2W games), I didn't mind being in the 2nd player division but the core mechanic to improve is rng + an insane amount of grinding during a large period of time or real money. I for instance was happy completing the courses with every single Uma Musume I got and getting all the trophies.

I do not miss the whole "grind for months to win" from other gacha games like Fgo and Genshin.

But hey, if you're having fun, don't let me stop you.
(Just remember to keep it in moderation)
Oh man… so here’s the situation. The global version of the game (there’s also a Korean version and the original Japanese one) is running on an accelerated schedule to catch up. If I’m not mistaken, it’s currently about 1.5x faster than the Japanese release pace, so there’s barely any time to grind, at most we get about two weeks before PvP events roll around.

It’s honestly kind of exhausting. They’ve adjusted the rewards now to balance things out, but when I first started playing, the rewards were still the same as the Japanese version.

Went through that with Magia Record (which then shut down a month after the final boss got released)
