Yay I finally won a trackblazer career run for the 1st time, with Sakura Weeb O.

Her family WON'T get a special glue package unlike the other girl's families.

Tried looking at my cards, and turns out I had quite a few gold and rainbow race bonus cards.

Just look at her... acting all innocent like she’s done nothing at all...

Me now discovering that there is CAREER SELECTION arrow on the edges of the screen...

I thought I HAD to do only Trackblazers this entire time.:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

Welp, I got an accidental Spartan training into how to manage the Umas under stress I guess.

In the back of my mind, I wondered if you knew you could play other scenarios when I told you that, since you were playing Trackblazer. But I ended up not mentioning it.

What's the other one about with the evil looking lady? Is it a team based career?
The one that limits cards.
That’s the Unity Cup. It’s not exactly a team-based career mode since you only really train one Uma, but it does have a Team Trial element to it, because you start by forming a team with the cards you use and recruit more teammates throughout the run to compete in a Team Trial championship. If you make your Uma strong, your team will be strong too.

Gameplay-wise, it’s much closer to URA than to Trackblazer, though it also has a lot of RNG, which made some people dislike it. Still, I’d take it over Trackblazer any day. Trackblazer sucks.

Ah, ok so it's not for beginners. I'll stick to the Ura one which is the default for now as I build up my team.

Trackblazer was kind of building bad habits on me rellying on the shop stuff instead of learning to balance the agenda race schedules with the training.

Problem I am having with Trackblazer is that it feels unwinnable for some of the Uma types. Feels very restrictive in who you can choose.
Yeah, if you’re playing casually, you can train pretty much any Uma, even if they don’t turn out that great. But if you’re playing competitively for the CMs, the pool of viable Umas gets really restricted because of Mile aptitude. If your Uma can’t run Mile races naturally, she’ll never be as strong as one who can, since you’d have to rely on Mile sparks, which makes getting the desired race aptitude to S much harder.

There’s also the issue of the runs being too long, and you can’t really afford to use cards without race bonus.

Oh, and then there’s the clock problem. As you probably know, if you lose a race in Trackblazer, you can retry by using a clock. And man, you’re going to burn through a ton of clocks if you’re training backline Umas (End Closers or Late Surgers), since they get blocked constantly, or if you don’t have Mile A aptitude. You can get away with Mile B, but you’ll burn a lot of clocks.

As a backliner main, it’s hell. I started Trackblazer with more than 650 clocks, and now I’m down to 390.

Trackblazer sucks.

Trackblazer sucks.
I gave up using end and late ones, they seem to suck for most races, too unreliable.

I win more with pace and front types.

I feel like Pace Chaser is the best running style in Trackblazer. The problem is that Pace Chasers don’t really have strong skills to rely on like the other racing styles do. There are some CMs where Pace Chasers can perform well, but usually that’s because their unique skill happens to be strong on those specific tracks, not because Pace Chaser itself is especially strong.
