Finally the chapter I've been waiting for, for a very long time has finally been adapted, it took me a lot to imagine the scenes while reading the LN, the good thing was we got an illustration for that bit 😭
Finally something happens before it being the literal ending. I hate romance stories that leave everything for the last chapter or the reader's imagination. But the worst on my book are the "sequels" that destroy the first iteration happy ending just to rince and repeat later on or give the same story to descendants of the original cast.
Unpopular opinion: it was good because it was different until it wasn't anymore. Now it enters the sappy love shit territory. Well, it was fun while it lasted.
They finished the thing while it was still good. And that's much better then stratching untill it eventually becomes bad. Unfortunately that's what usually happens
I get that this is the natural progression of the story and probably the only way it was ever going to end, I'm fine with the broad strokes of it, but this abrupt way of handling it feels somehow really out of character
