3rd episode of the anime is an original and is not included in the manga or the novels. The script is by the original author too. Make sure to watch it!

Bookmarked this series in November, but didn't read it since I wasn't interested. Didn't know it was being adapted into an anime, and I just watched the 3rd episode. Might as well start reading it as well, since I'm enjoying the anime lmao.

3rd anime episode was neat and filled in some details about glitch finding that had never been properly explained.

My God! I only today have learned that there is in existence manga and anime.

I love the book, love the movie, ofc games (being Russian it helps I guess). And now anime and manga, it's truly the best timeline

@TDSgaming I mean, the easiest way to find out if you want to read it is to just dive in and start reading? The novel/manga have a less light hearted tone, and the creepy atmosphere/psychological effects of the things they face come through stronger. If you like the anime for the characters and/or the setting, you'll probably enjoy the manga.

@I_am_nemo no yeah I get that, but I said I dropped it because the beginning didn't hook me so I was asking if the payoff near the end/middle is worth it

@TDSgaming I guess that depends what "payoff" you're looking for? You won't necessarily find a grand, overarching narrative that explains the otherside, or resolves it's interactions with our world. Knowledge about it is still very much incomplete and tentative, and there's no obvious central conflict to resolve. On the other hand, there's plenty of development with the characters and their relationships.
