So about Kadokura and Boro saying the loser would have to be a corpse that says no words...did they just assume the loser would be killed in this game, or was it a guarantee that the loser would be purged in the event they survive? I've been assuming the latter, but I guess this becomes one of those weird Kakerou situations where they're torn between upholding the rules of the gamble (the bet was "exile") and trying to honor their agreement with Daiba (to eliminate all exiled players).
I like Kaji's path of winning allies through charisma. It's interesting that he wants to forge his own path where nobody has to actually die in a Kakerou gamble even if people are putting their lives on the line, but it follows his character arc well. From the gamble with Samemaru where he wouldn't let Kakerou collect him, to being sick at Sadakuni hanging from the gallows, to deluding himself into thinking Ikuto had any other way out other than the bull, etc. He's come a long way, I'm just wondering what his next step is.
