I kind of like the concept of the clones being completely random when it comes to core personality. I think it makes sense how Nigo just happened to be an asshole and thus all his extensions were also kinda assholes with slightly different personalities. Cool concept. Also it makes sense that one clone was of the thought that the original should be the one to live, while the other clone wanted to start some world domination shit, considering the fact that being born as a clone, especially the first one, must be trippy af and kinda explains the difference even more as Second has a bit more understanding and foresight as to how crazy a clone could end up with that messed up way of thinking, while Nigo is the first ever clone and is tripping tf out about his purpose and meaning in life.

I think its because MC's emotions at that time during the first few chapters was ambitious and lustful for his love interest. It spouted an ambitious and lusty clone. This time, MC is resolved to stop Nigo once and for all so the clone that appeared is heroic.

I think it has to do with the thoughts and mindset he has when the separation happens.
