Thanks for the translation, shame it was cancelled but not that surprising given he gave it all away that the plot was going to be:

All the boys become girls
Each one gets a transformation chapter
Each one has a special power
Mystery with one of the characters which wasn't that compelling

The cast was too big, the pacing too slow, it had an interesting idea and concept but didn't go quick enough with it and none of the characters who were turned seemed to actually care or do anything with it.

It's sad, but I can sort of see why this was cancelled. The genderswap elements kind of clash with the more serious parts of the story in a way that makes both feel a bit lesser. I think they could've been blended together better. Maybe instead of getting transformed via Konpachi's magic, it would have been better if they became girls when they left the school grounds? Then there's a more direct connection between "helping" and "becoming a girl." They need to go out to get food and investigate and such, after all.

I'm glad the author's starting something new soon. Hopefully that one doesn't get cancelled as quickly as this was.

I think you're reading into it too deeply. It's a pretty niche genre with a lot of cancelled series, it might've failed in popularity polls or been cancelled so series in more popular genres could be given the page space or as Kaneko Naoya is changing publishers because of a failing out with them. Who knows, maybe they'll have the rights to continue it as a self published series like Akazukin no Ookami Deshi or maybe one day they'll buy or get the rights back to it like Nekotofu and Serving! Koharu.

Why hasn't this been done before? With all the female heroes out there and the tendency for male heroes to have harems for party members an Incubus seems like a natural counter.
