No, it's just a niche genre that publishers have always been skittish about. Just after Onimai ran away with accolades they've been forced to give the genre a chance. I'd say it's not a chance they like giving, given the howling wasteland of TS content prior to 2017. I hope we're not slowly sliding back into that status quo.
the problems with this one are very clear, firstly the protagonist is boring. secondly they focus too much on the TS part. thirdly people don't like to read the same things over and over again like this manga does. and finally, the fan service and art are not good enough for the problems to be ignored.
My sibling in Tiresias, the author is the same one who did TS Gakuen. If the editors didn't know who they were dealing with, that's more their fault than anyone's.
